Happy Halloween!

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN Y'ALL!!!!

We can't believe it but it is time for Trick or Treating already!
First let me show you one of my many favorite pictures of the evening:
First one out and they are all looking and smiling and so happy!  Can't beat that!  I LOVE THESE LITTLE PUMPKINS!!!

Of course we need a family shot too!

Here is our precious little witch!  She is a SWEET witch and very stylish - notice the big smile along with the orange tights, green hat and broom, and the purple dress.  We know how to work the Halloween colors.  I was surprised when KK selected a witch, as we tend to focus on princesses or heroes for our costumes.  See our soon coming post for our school parade and more about our witch :-)

Here is our baby giraffe - the CUTEST little girl giraffe to ever exist!  I mean look at those blue eyes and those little teeth peaking out of that smile...

As Baby Kins is walking everywhere (well as long as she can hold on to someone or something), we tried for a standing shot so you could see the complete adorableness of the costume.  She wasn't sure...

And thus the even cuter fussy face where she starts yelling at Daddy to come save her as she tries to sit down on the big pumpkin behind her.  Little girl!  We know you can stand up alone when you want to get a toy or cracker, why not a picture?

All better with Daddy holding onto us!

Quick picture with Daddy - AJ wasn't having it just yet... Kins wasn't either.  Thanks KK for being camera ready at all times :-)

Here is our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!!!  Our Mickey!  Watch out bad guys, you are no match for our Ninja skills.

Oh yeah - check out our jacket that has built in eyes and mask...

Quick picture of Mommy and Baby Kins!  Then we were ready to start the night of candy collecting!

Our neighbors joined us - here is our first door!  Notice AJ's costume.  I failed to show it earlier but he had a hard shell with a place to hold his weapons... even more authentic!

Group shot before the crazy running door to door started!  KK had a friend join us too and everyone called them "twin witches".  They loved it!  AJ of course, surrounded by the ladies!

So this year is the first time Kins got to try this trick or treating thing... She went up with Daddy and grabbed two pieces of candy...

Look Daddy! One for each hand!  And she didn't let go of these two little pieces for at least a block before we distracted her with an M&M.  I think she likes this candy thing.  We thought one house was enough... she's so cute, it wouldn't be fair when people started giving her entire bowls of candy ;-)

Don't take my candy Mommy!

AJ did find his "long lost brother" that he loves to play with whenever he can.  The moment these two see one another they immediately hug and then start chasing one another in circles.  Some sort of guy code I am guessing.  So handsome aren't they!

We did run into some of our awesome friends down the street - Seriously couldn't have made it through this month without them and so many others.  Had to take a picture of course.  Some people walk around for candy, I do it for the pictures.

Mommy and the big kids after hitting house #50 out of 122.  I will say I am so proud of these kiddos.  There was never any frantic running door to door just grabbing candy.  Each door was a joy to ring or knock on, they loved yelling "TRICK OR TREAT" together so it was loud.  I heard please or thank yous at almost each door.  Made this momma's heart happy :-)

The witches... the last leg home.  They sure worked hard for their treats, we walked at least a mile tonight.

Well after 2 hours, a 1 mile stroller ride, many snacks and snuggling under her blankie, Baby Kins was still smiling and enjoying the night.  I told you she was the sweetest giraffe ever.

Thank goodness for Daddy!  He held all those heavy heavy candy bags as well as two witches brooms.  It was the only way we made it up the hill and through the last block.

We ran into another twin witch, our bestie from school!  What a night!  KK sure is popular, lots of friends hugging her and telling her hello tonight.

Okay so after our two hour adventure, with our feet aching, we were ready for the best part.  Checking out our stashes!  I think they did pretty well for themselves.

Now if only we hadn't let the baby giraffe loose!
We thought she wanted a picture with big sissy...

But nope, she was face down in the middle of the pile in about 2.2 seconds.  When Daddy asked her what she was doing - she showed him: duh Daddy, getting this candy.  Want some?

She found a box of nerds and was laughing as she shook them at me - candy that make noise, wwwhhhaaaat?!?

So here we leave you - with one last picture that shows just how over the pictures they were.  We had fun enjoying the cool evening with the candy and the friends... but man we are tired!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!
Sweet dreams!
